My Son just turned 38 today and he has had mental disablites since he was 2 but I have been turned down for ssi more than once and I,m getting scared about what will happen to him if I,m gone. I know its autism but bcause hes not mean or have anger problems they think he can work I have got him jobs in the past but he cant remember what to do and he gets fired. he was in job corps for 4 yrs and they could not train him for a job either. they me to find records from school but they dont have them anymore. I am going back to apply again so maybe this time he will get it. is there any help I can get to gt him tested? I am a single mom an can not afford a doctor?

I know that my son had been disgarded with ADD and ADHD in the past. Before school he had a resource teacher for the first year. My son had a test done and the test resulted in that at the age 5 he was thinking like a 3 year old boy. [more..]
