To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download MY DAUGHTER Hi there this is vick. My story starts with my daughter who born to love us. She is a child who is very beautiful and i know god loves her like all the kids. She was recently diaganose with autsim specturm, (high functioning asd). She is 3.5years. I want to first tell everyone out there that if they have a little doubut about your child that she or he may have ASD then dont wait please please see a dev docotor right away, please dont be afraid. Me and my wife were very scared to see a docotor for her finally we saw one who states she is just delay no concerns, so we didnt worry much as she was growing our concern became big but we started her speech therapy and put her into a pre-school 5 days a week, after 6 months of speech therapy we saw dev ped who told us she has a mild asd which really made us dishearten but we reasearch and spoke with family with asd child and found out that ABA is the best treatment, we did it for 2 months for now and saw bigh results. She is now fully verbal and can request what she wants also sleeping in far better. She goes for 21hrs per week for ABA and also 3hrs of OT and one hr speech. I hope soon she will with all the help outgrow it or at least be a typical child. God bless us all and give us strength to cope with this stress of life which with gods blessing can be overcome for sure. vikram December 2008
